EVENTCOVER was born out of the necessity to have an underwriting agency on the ground in NEW ZEALAND who fully understood 

and was ingrained in the NZ events industry.

Having worked as the Partnerships Manager for a major corporate broking house, Stuart Hartley felt the need to fill a gap in the market.  Having previously worked as the Official supplier to the New Zealand Event Association (NZEA), Stuart has taken this experience and joined Sage Partners Ltd, an underwriting agency and Lloyds Coverholder, to create EVENTCOVER.

EVENTCOVER'S underwriting capacity is provided by Markel Syndicate Management Ltd - Syndicate 3000 who are recognised as market leaders in the classes of Event Cancellation and Non-Apperance and are rated A (Excellent) by A.M.Best.

As a specialist underwriting agency, EVENTCOVER are able to provide a true understanding of the New Zealand events industry.

At EventCover, we don't deal in the ordinary, we don't have ordinary clients and we don't offer ordinary solutions. We work with our clients to apply our skills for their benefit, including creating bespoke insurance solutions for the NZ events industry.

Discuss your complaint with the person you’ve been dealing with and try to resolve it. 

▪ Step 2 – Request a review 

If your complaint is not resolved by Step 1, you can arrange to see our Managing Director Geoff Manks, call 09 950 4902 or email geoff@sagepartners.co.nz, or we can supply a feedback form for you to detail your concerns. 

▪ Step 3 – Refer your complaint 

If a resolution has not been reached after going through our complaints process, you can refer your complaint to the 

Insurance & Savings Ombudsman Scheme Inc. of which Sage is a participant.
